Do you use the Kindle for speaking? Do it now with a gift-card bonus

Ever since I realized you could use a Kindle to hold your text or notes for a speaking gig--and avoid shuffling note cards or paper--I've really tapped this device's possibilities. The photo in this post shows yet another use: Mounting the largest format Kindle DX as a teleprompter. Kindles also let you bring along multiple speech texts, listen to your remarks read out loud and store research and reference books. You can even email your speaker friends and colleagues a Kindle e-book as a gift.

Now, in a Mother's Day special that runs until May 8, 2011, you can get a $25 Amazon gift card if you buy a Kindle DX or Kindle 3G (no, the card can't be used toward the Kindle purchase). Follow these links to get the Kindle DX with $25 gift card bonus, or the Kindle 3G with gift card bonus.
